Mike Pete out. Pbgh is really beat up on their OL & can't compete this year for the Lombardi Trophy- so why not us?
Prediction: Jags LBs and DEs blitz the Pbgh O-line 3rd stringers and finish off the season for an already beat up Big Ben.
Taylor & MJD each rush for 100. Jags 27 Steelers 6

The Steelers are who we have, so that's where the focus should be. We proved we could hang with them, and that we could beat them. I could see this one being a tight one like the last game, let's go and get the job done. Just hand it to Freddy T and let him shred their D. You can throw in some passing plays like previously, we were pretty good in that area too.

The Steewahs are so thin at left tackle that we should absolutely bum-rush that side of the line. McCray/Hayward, I don't care who. Just overwhelm their weak line and put Big Ben on his Big Ass.
And now it's time for Freddy T to show the nation why he should have made the Pro Bowl (not as an Alternate, I mean).

Welcome LARRY_JAY2G, glad to have you here.
This is the weekend we've waited for a long, long time now. And I've just got a good feeling about it. I will go on record with what would be my highest point spread prediciton of the year: Jags by 17. We should win this one soundly. I just pray with all of my might that the team isn't looking ahead. Pitt is a wounded animal, and most on their roster have the ring. You know dang well they want to get back and prove that 2005 was no fluke.
But they'll to wait until next year. This is the year for the boys in teal. Jags by 17.

i am having a good feeling too.
garrard has been quite good, and at least stable compared to "aforementioned seasons". gray was good last week.
what can you say about taylor and mjd??
receiving is looking better...
we've proven ourselves in the cold weather, nasty field climate...
physically we are there. we are relatively healthy all around. my only concern is the mental game...i hope we dont fall into thinking 'no problem". we all know they will be out to prove themselves to us. we should win.
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!

I'm sitting in the airport right now on my way to Pittsburgh. Hope you guys enjoy the game! I'm going to do some video for Jacksonville.com at Clark's before the game if anybody is going to be there.

It's 945am in Jax on gameday and I'm nervous as hell now. I woke up less confident that I was yesterday.
What worries me the most is that we SHOULD beat these guys. I know the 2007 Jags aren't the same old Jags who play up or down to their competition, but I'm still anxious.
About 10 hours to go. This is going to be a long day until kickoff...

I'm excitied about tonight's game, also because I don't get to see many Jags games, have to follow what's going on at nfl.com
On a sidenote, I think if we had beat the Texans last week we would have got the number 3 seed and would have been playing at home for the first round of the playoffs, instead the SD Super Chokers are number #3. No big worry though, because we can still be tough in colder climates.

My understanding of the Texans game was that it was completely meaningless and the Jags could in no way improve their postseason seeding. In other words, they were going to be the number 5 seed no matter what.
But that's all history now, all that matters is beating those Dbags from PA tonight. I want to see Big Ben on his back early and often.
Maybe even a INT return for a TD by Rashean. He loves to do that to these jerks.

Without Parker in the line up there's no doubt in my mind that the Stoolers will be chucking the rock more, which should work to our advantage since it's generally more difficult to win with a one dimensional offense. Ben could very well have some unwelcome cats in his face often this evening, making them boys in the steel city savior the taste of mud and defeat.

Hahahaha! Yes! TD JD! As they say in the Mickey D's commercials.. I'm lovin' it.
On that previous INT by Rashean they said he was down by contact but it didn't look like he was touched by anyone, but he would have been out anyway 'cause of his hair. Still more football to go, things are looking good so far.

Man, what a game. Hats off to Pittsburgh, they played with plenty of heart tonight, we sort of self-destructed, but shit happens, none of it matters now, we pulled thru as victory is ours!!
The road will be tougher next week, but as I said.. no fear and be ready to fight to the death like we did tonight.
